Rules of Origin

The aim of Rules of Origin is to determine the « nationality » of a good. Jointly with the Customs Classification and Valuation, the specification of the country of origin appears to be essential when choosing the amount of Custom Rights and Collectable Taxes. The origin enables to determine the eventual application of measures related to commercial politics (as quotas, antidumping laws, embargoes…).
